Day 2: February 29, 2012.
NOT a great day so far. Got walked in on while crooning to All By Myself to an overpriced bottle of body lotion. What a cliche. Discovered that there was no toilet paper in the loo, only after my business was done. Was forced to get creative that early in the morning.
My iTunes, usually a good friend on foul mornings such as these, has gone defunct. It has persistently been belting out hideous '80s Power Ballads.
Forgot friend's birthday. Don't have the guts to call her now, it's 3 days late.
Have decided to indulge in a pair of obnoxiously colored suede heels. Contemplating yellow versus neon green. There's something about flippantly swiping a card at a fancy store and coming home with a deliciously designed paper bag full of sheer awesomeness, that's so bizarrely magical. It's as if the universe is rewarding you for appreciating the value in all things frivolous by bestowing upon you, of it's own accord, a little piece of what heaven must feel like. Yum.
On the seemingly feeble upside, the number of blog views in twelve hours has been overwhelming. It's makes me happy knowing there are people out there listening.

PS: I wonder if anyone knows anyone with a birthday today? That would be super cool.

Not birthday, but I know a couple who are celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary! I tend to think it's a pity to miss three out of every four of those!
